The outdoor Arts Foundation acquired panels of the Berlin Wall in 2001.
A Collection of artists, local and national, we commissioned to paint panels to be unveiled in 2009 and 2014 to coincide with 20th 25th anniversaries of the fall of the wall. 
My piece, tilted 99 Red Balloons featured ceramic, Raku faces on one side, leading to cement door that says Imagine-then inside, No more walls, No exposed. The other side has been painted like the sky with 99 ceramic balloons attached. At the time of this project there were discussions about building a similar wall along the U.S.-Mexican border. This project is currently on hold but until the time that all the pieces and be displayed , my piece is safely ensconced in my studio.
